CFC Global

CFC will proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ for the growth of the global church of Jesus Christ by working to establish the church where it does not exist and strengthen the church where it does exist to the glory of Jesus Christ.

The Great Commission of Matthew 28 and the missionary heart we see throughout the Bible compels us to share with the nations the joy we have found in Christ, the peace that we have with God, and the hope that we have for eternity. We have established long-term partners serving in East Asia and the Middle East, and we are always praying that the Lord would raise up more people in our church who would seek to spread the gospel of Christ to all nations.

WHY

The verses below command us to GO, PREACH, PRAY, and SEND. The boundless love the Father shows us along with the renown due His name compels us to follow His commands and proclaim His GLORY.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you… – Matthew 28:19-20

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”Romans 10:13-15

The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. – Luke 10:2

Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” – John 20:21

And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, – Revelation 5:9

HOW

Our primary goal is to proclaim the gospel to those without access (Acts 13:47), disciple and train church leaders in underserved regions (Eph 4:11-17), and minister to the poor and vulnerable as a demonstration of the love of Christ (Isaiah 58:6-7, I John 3:16-18, James 1:27). We seek to obey these Biblical commands through the following strategic methods:

Partnerships

We desire to cultivate focused, meaningful partnerships. Scripture instructs us to walk with our brothers and sisters serving in contexts all over the world (Phil 4:14-18). As a community of believers we will live out this mandate through:

  • Our giving of resources (2 Cor. 8-9)
  • Our continued prayer (Col 4:2-4)
  • Our sharing with them in trial and persecution (2 Timothy 1:8)
  • Our visiting of them to offer encouragement (Hebrews 10:24-25)
  • Our laboring with them to reach the lost (Matthew 9:37-38)

Sending: Short-term & Long-term

Jesus calls us to go into all the world. We respond to this call by sending CFC members on long-term placements to facilitate the establishment of the church where it does not exist as well as on short-term trips to serve alongside our established partners and long-term placements.

Short-term trips:

  • Provide passion and engagement within the church for the lost to be saved (2 Cor 5:20)
  • Enable church members to exercise obedience (Matthew 28:19-20)
  • Enable church members to support one another financially and through prayer (Phil 4:16-18)
  • Provide support to our partners (3 John 3, Philemon 7)
  • Expand the Kingdom and glory of Jesus Christ (1 Chron 16:23-25, Psalm 67, Col 1:4-6)
  • Facilitate identification with the struggles and persecutions prevalent in the Church in other cultures (2 Cor 4:8-12)
  • Give the lost the opportunity to hear the Gospel (Romans 10:13-15)

Long-term placements are supported by:

  • Our giving of resources (2 Cor. 8-9)
  • Our continued prayer (Col 4:2-4)
  • Our visiting to offer encouragement (I Thes 5:11)
  • Our sharing with them in trial and persecution (2 Timothy 1:8)
  • Our laboring with them to reach the lost (Matthew 9:37-38)
  • Our providing of accountability and discipleship between the placement and the CFC body (Col. 1:28-29)
  • Our maintaining the covenant responsibilities as outlined in our church covenant
