We are excited to be working with Sav-A-Life to offer a baby shower for moms who have chosen to parent and are receiving support from SAL.
The baby shower is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, March 21, and we are planning to honor six moms -- two having girls, and four having boys! We don't want to overwhelm the moms, so we have a limited number of slots available for women of CFC to attend the shower. In addition to gifts, we need for people to donate food for the shower, decorations, and plan games. On the day before the shower, we are having a wrapping party where we will wrap all the gifts for the moms! You can see the details and sign up for all of that here.
The largest request we have for the ladies of CFC is to provide gifts for the shower. CFC is going to provide a stroller/car seat combo for each mom, but the smaller items we have the opportunity to provide as individual members. You can view and purchase from the registry here. Note that we are trying to help them get all the essentials, but you don't have to buy the exact item listed in the registry. But when you buy something similar, please go ahead and click the orginal item on the registry and select "Mark item as purchased" so we can make sure to keep track of what is still needed.
