Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear when I visit Sunday?
CFC is a fairly casual environment. Come as you are!
Do I need to be a member?
In no way do we intend to pressure you or convince you to join this particular church. We are not seeking to enlarge the kingdom of Christ Fellowship Church. We want to enlarge the kingdom of Christ.
In that spirit, we simply want every believer to be a faithful member of a gospel-preaching church. If the Lord is leading you to be a part of CFC, then we would love to serve Christ together in the years ahead. If not, we would encourage you to be diligent in joining a biblically faithful church where you can know others and be known by others in the service of Christ.
What is the membership process?
Basically, there are four steps to joining CFC:
1) Attend the Membership Matters class. At this class will meet one another and talk through the Church Covenant and Statement of Beliefs. In addition, there will be an opportunity to learn more about Christ Fellowship Church's vision, plans, etc.
2) Participate in a membership interview with an elder from CFC. This may occur either before or after the Membership Matters class and will last approximately 45 minutes. At this meeting we'll go over your salvation experience, understanding of the gospel and baptism, talk through church expectations, think through how you'll connect with other believers, and answer any questions you might have about the CFC. While these meetings are often difficult to arrange in terms of schedule, they are a tremendous blessing to our elders, who are seeking to know better the people they are shepherding.
3) Agree to our Church Covenant and Statement of Beliefs. These are our foundational documents, explaining what it means to be a member of the church and what we believe as a church.
4) Be affirmed as a covenant member at the next Members' Meeting.
Do you offer childcare?
