Sermon: "Follow Me"
The preaching passage: John 1:35-51
This Sunday we will be completing our study of John 1. Contained in this lengthy chapter are powerful, eternal truths that reveal the glory and the grace of our salvation and, moreover, the glory and grace of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our desire is to once more come and behold the wondrous mystery of God coming to earth to save His people from their sins. We pray that you'll journey with us and worship with us as we study.
This Sunday, we'll be looking at John 1:35-51, in which we see John's account of the calling of some of Jesus' first disciples. Jesus' simple invitation, "follow me," is of profound significance. We will dive into what it looks like to follow Jesus and to be His disciples.
Songs we'll sing together include:
“Our God” by Myrin, Redman, Reeves, & Tomlin (YouTube)
“Jesus” by Poore (CFC Music)
“Behold Our God” by Altrogge & Baird (YouTube)
“Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery” by Boswell, Papa, & Bleecker (YouTube)
"Take My Life" by Giglio, Havergal, Malan, & Tomlin (YouTube)
See you Sunday!
