Advent Resources for Families

The Advent season is a perfect opportunity to slow down and set a routine of spending time with your family talking about the coming of Christ, the hope of all nations. While we hope the CFC Advent Devotional is helpful for you, we know that there are a lot of good options out there to help you intentionally disciple your children over the coming month. Here are a few resources we think could be helpful.

• The Village Church's Advent Guide – This has weekly devotions for personal, group, and family time that is full of great ideas to engage your kids and point them to Jesus.
• Focus on the Family's All the Colors of Christmas Devotional – This has small daily daily Bible readings and activities to show how the Bible points to Jesus.
• Jesus Story Book Bible Advent Calendar – If you use The Jesus Story Book Bible in your home, this will be familiar way to look at the Advent story.
• Jotham's Journey Book Series – Tom Holsteen and Julia Morrison swear by these books. You can read a brief description of the books at the publisher's website.
